LUST vs LOVE

I’ve realised over the years that many people (including those who lust) do not know the difference between lust and Love. As a result, there are millions of people walking around giving and receiving lust, thinking that it is Love and giving Love wrongful branding.

Lust is selfish. It is ALL about the one who is lusting. It is full of flattery and compliments and will show you off, as a prize.

Strong lust can last for years, it can be full of ro

mantic gimmicks and “good loving”, but all that is done to ensure that you always say good things about the one who is lusting after you.

Lust is shallow and fickle – there are no depths and the subject of lust is easily (and with some people regularly) switched out for another.

Lust has no substance. It is all light and fun, but there is no future and no plan.

If you had to relive your Life, you would probably happily do without the lust relationships in your Life, if you had to give them up.

On the other hand,Love is. all. about. YOU.

Love enriches your Spiritand makes you feel expansive and connected to God, to nature and to others, for whom you wish the same happiness.

Love respects you as a person and admires and may even boast of YOUR achievements and good traits. Love is appreciative and will make you feel valued.

Love will sacrifice for you. The one who Loves will help you in whatever way they can along your Life’s journey, usually without you even asking. Love will lift you up. Love will fill your empty spaces and cause you to heal and to be better.

Love is deep and Love is lasting. Even with the pain, you are happy to have been a part of something so deep and so great, even if it didn’t last, and you would not easily give up your Love experiences if you had to live your Life over again.

So, are you giving lust or Love and are you receiving lust or Love?

BE Magic + Joy EVERY day!
